The Day The World Stood Still

That is what they will call it. The 2008 election where the world watched as Americans cast their vote. Barack is a man of the world, having lived in Hawaii, Indonesia, LA and NYC before settling in Chicago. Since being a congressman, He has been all over Europe, been to Iraq, Israel, Kuwait, Jordan; also Kenya, South Africa, Ethiopia etc. etc. etc.
McCain has visited a lot of the same places, but he is not a man of the world. He is a man of war. War on Iraq, War on Iran. He will definitely seal the deal on warmongering.
In America, McCain and Obama are close in the polls.
What will breakout first? Will it wait until the conventions? I don't see this as being a close race towards the end, but either team has a chance of losing. It's not going to stay fair game for too long.

Every other major country favors Obama over McCain. Especially the uberliberal France, Germany, Britain, Russia, Sweden, The Netherlands, Japan....... He is actually less liked in the middle east. Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon. He is still favored over McCain, just only single digits percentage wise.

Doesn't this tell you anything? We have to lose the "America is #1, everyone else can blow me!" mentality. We may possibly be #1, but far from perfect, we have a lot to learn from the world. Barack Obama will be willing to listen.
