The Partnership for a Drug Free America

Let us have a look at some of the top donors of The Partnership for a Drug Free America:

Consumer Healthcare Products Association (association representing the makers of prescription and over-the-counter medicines and nutritional supplements such as AccuDial Pharmaceutical, Inc., Bayer HealthCare LLC, Biocodex, Inc., Colgate-Palmolive Company, Fleming Pharmaceuticals, Merck Consumer Pharmaceuticals Co., Lansinoh Laboratories, Inc., Sinclair Pharmacal Co., Inc., and hundreds of other drug companies)
Purdue Pharma (pharmaceutical company, makers of Oxycontin, Betadine, Dilaudid, etc.)
Novartis (pharmaceutical company, makers of Lamisil, Zometa, Diovan, etc.)
Pfizer (pharmaceutical company, makers of Zoloft, Viagra, Celebrex, Lyrica, Rebif, Xanax, etc.)
Bristol - Myers Squib (pharmaceutical company, makers of Abilify, Avapro, Plavix, Taxol, etc.)
Proctor & Gamble (drug and consumer goods company)
Johnson & Johnson (drug and consumer goods company)
Schering-Plough (pharmaceutical company, makers of Claritin, Coricidin, Levitra, Remeron, etc.)
Wyeth Pharmaceuticals (makers of Advil, Effexor, Dimetabb, Xythna, etc.)

So, what is the lesson here? The Partnership for a Drug Free America is not working to keep you away from drugs, they are working to keep you away from drugs they don't approve of. You are okay if you use "their" drugs. If you didn't buy all of those prescription drugs, they wouldn't exist.
So, keep your medicine cabinet full, stay drug free. They seem to believe that is not an oxymoron. No one has ever abused Oxycontin, Zoloft, Paxil, Effexor, Viagra, or Xanax, right?
